    Actually the BPTrends folks did hire an outsider to do the review, although each company did provide the information. So it is not true “analysis” but it is not pure marketing either. It could best be described as a moderated discussion of how the vendor sees its own product.

  2. Not sure that I really see the difference: like the other BPTrends reports, what’s in the vendor-specific pages is pretty much what I could get from the vendor websites. It’s “moderated” only in the sense that it’s restricted to a specific set of questions or areas of interest for each vendor.
